Dear Friends & Neighbors:
I am writing to request your participation in helping a young couple’s dream of becoming parents a reality. Several months ago we were fortunate to find a young man by the name of Chris Sandlin who joined the ProfitPoint family as our graphic artist. Chris and his wife Elysia are unable to have biological children and as a result have been going through the process of adopting a child from Russia. This process, for any of you who know anything about it, has been very difficult and taxing on them both personally and financially. After a year of waiting and putting on bake sales, yard sales and various other fund raising efforts, they are very close to making their adoption dreams come true. Unfortunately, they have been advised that the amount of money required to complete the adoption process has increased significantly and they now find themselves $16,000 short of the amount they have raised and what they need.
I have 5 children and can only imagine what it would be like without them in my life. The fact is, most of us who have children tend to take our gifts for granted and it only takes one situation like Chris and Elysia’s to remind us of how fortunate we truly are. Upon learning of these recent developments my employees and I decided to do what we could to ensure that this wonderful couple would not be denied their opportunity to grow their family and give their child the life every kid hopes for. These are good Christian people who believe that God will find a way…I am with them!
To that end we have formed the Baby Sandlin Charitable Foundation and set up an account at FirstBank in Cool Springs. We will be hosting a golf tournament on Friday, December 3rd at the Vanderbilt Legends Club to benefit this cause. All the details surrounding the event are detailed by way of the attached brochure. You can join us in supporting the Sandlins in a number of ways; 1) put a team together and register to play, 2) sponsor a hole, 3) sponsor a contest, 4) sponsor a giveaway, 5) be the title sponsor for the event, 6) attend the after-party and dinner only or 5) simply make a donation. All donations should be made directly to the foundation either in advance or at the time of registration. Your participation will be the difference in making this adoption happen. Everyone who participates and shares their email and/or mailing address with us will receive a follow-up notification once baby Sandlin arrives home safely in January.
On behalf of Chris and Elysia Sandlin and all of the people who are working so hard to put this event together, I would like to thank you in advance for anything you can do to help us reach our goal. I look forward to seeing you on December 3rd.
May God Richly Bless You!
